Express Entry Skilled Worker SINP

This sub-category is for international skilled workers who want to live and work in Saskatchewan.

Eligibility Requirement:

• Applicant must have a valid Express Entry profile
• You must score a minimum of 60 points as per SINP point assessment grid
• English language proficiency
• Education credential assessment (ECA) from IRCC approved organizations
• Work experience should not be in excluded occupation list
• Proof of funds
• Professional status or proof of eligibility for licensure may be required

SINP Occupation In-Demand

This sub-category is for international skilled workers who want to live and work in Saskatchewan. A job offer is not required, but your occupation should be in highly skilled in-demand list.

Eligibility Requirement:

• You are not a refugee claimant
• You must score a minimum of 60 points as per SINP point assessment grid
• English language proficiency of at least CLB 4
• Education credential assessment (ECA) from IRCC approved organizations
• Work experience should be highly skilled and not in excluded occupation list
• Proof of funds
• Professional status or proof of eligibility for licensure may be required
• Work experience must be related to your occupation and education

Worker with Saskatchewan Work Experience programs:

Farm Owner and Operator:

This sub-category is for applicants who:

• Have experience in farming
• Have enough capital (money/assets) to invest in farming operation
• Plan to buy and run a farm in Saskatchewan

Eligibility Requirement:

Available equity net worth of $500,000 CAD should be proven. A refundable good faith deposit of $75,000 CAD is required under performance agreement. Exploratory visit for at least 10 working days and farm operation experience documentation are mandatory.

Farm Owners and Operators Eligibility Criteria:

• Personal net worth of at least $500,000 CAD
• Show your net worth legally
• At least three years of experience in farm ownership, management, or practical farming
• Submit a proposal for commercial Saskatchewan farming opportunity with minimum investment of $150,000 CAD
• Applicant must score minimum 55 points on Farm Owner/Operator Category Intent Grid

Farm Owners and Operators - Young Farmer Stream

This program supports young farm families to establish their lives and farming operations in rural Saskatchewan.

Eligibility Criteria

• Personal net worth of at least $300,000 CAD
• Show your net worth legally
• Age must be under 40 at the time of application
• At least three years of farm ownership, management, or practical farming experience
• Submit a proposal for commercial farming opportunity with minimum investment of $150,000 CAD
• You or your spouse must have employment skills to support and increase farming income

Before you apply for Farm Owners and Operators program:

• Make sure you meet the criteria
• Prepare your documents and application forms
• Do an exploratory visit to Saskatchewan for at least 10 days

Processing fee: $2,500 CAD. Deposit fee: $75,000 CAD.
